Jeroen Sieben recently spoke to Johan Reijne. Johan is account manager at Oosterberg Den Bosch, but most installers in the 's-Hertogenbosch region will know him as the cheerful and good-humoured inside sales representative at Oosterberg Den Bosch. Six months ago, he made the switch to field sales account manager. This makes it easier for him to get involved in projects and provide customers with sound on-site advice. He talks about his experiences with EcoDim.
The EcoDim products are certainly not foreign to Johan, as he has been working with them for years. However, he had never really thought about the EcoDim brand. Who are the people behind EcoDim? What is its history and how did it originate? What dim situations can you encounter and what is the right solution?
"I'm honestly glad you've been with explanations, also about the new series a lot has become clear"
In April, EcoDim and Oosterberg 's-Hertogenbosch organised a knowledge session for their own commercial staff. Jeroen from EcoDim immediately made a nice entrance with genuine Limburg flan(s) he had brought along. After coffee, the session kicked off. First, there was an introduction with a tight storyline about the company's origins, products, dim developments and service levels. In addition, they talked about EcoDim's smarthome range that makes you completely smarthome proof when it comes to dimming lighting. Johan is positive: "The collaboration runs smoothly. Also, there are no questions about EcoDim from our customers, the product is self-explanatory."
Furthermore, Johan is lyrical about the ECO-DIM.02: "The ECO-DIM.02 is the baker's warm bread." However, he is also open to innovations, as with the Zigbee story: "Where I didn't think of you before, we can still make a difference with you in these types of applications, should I get an application I will definitely think of you given the value for money." Johan then also indicates that he wants to bring the EcoDim modules and wall transmitters to the attention of self-employed people more: "For smaller renovations, this is a hugely suitable solution, now KlikAanKlikUit is often chosen here."
Johan says that for him and his colleagues, the knowledge session was a desired addition to the knowledge already present regarding the EcoDim brand and its products. Johan: " The range is effective and certainly not too broad, you have the right products for every possible dim situation." As an example, Johan takes the ECO-DIM.14: "A handy little module that easily fits behind a touch printer; you already save over fifty per cent with that compared to regular A-brands."
"The ECO-DIM.02 is the baker's bread and butter."
Johan concludes with satisfaction: "I found this meeting very interesting because things were told that I didn't know yet. There were also products discussed that I didn't know about so quickly. Why did I choose EcoDim? Well, as a good salesman would say, "I have it at home myself." I have been using it for five years without any problems and installing it was very easy. Moreover, the value for money is just right."
